Recently I came across a issue when trying to deploy the Scom Agent onto the SCSM servers. The SCOM agent is not compatible with SCSM due to some of the executables being the same. The workaround would be to use the Agentless Managed configuration .

System Center 2012 Service Pack 1 will now install a native SCOM agent when you update SCSM to SP1. Configure the agent via the control panel to point to your SCOM infrastructure, approve the agent and done. Agent monitored SCSM 🙂
SP1 is now RTM btw.
